GENERAL CONDITION OF RENTALS
RENTER’S AND DRIVER’S AGE: At least 16 years old for groups A and 18 years old for the other groups.
DRIVER’S LICENCE: Drive must have a valid licence
aged at least 12 months.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: The exact rental cost is prepaid.
TAXES: All rates are subject to 19 % V.A.T.
INSURANCE: All authorized drivers of SUN RISE
bikes are covered against fire, and liability to
third parties for death, injury or damage to property.
Drivers responsibility for collision damages of
a SUN RISE rented bike is for the first 1.467 euros
for Groups A, B 2.935 euros for groups C, D and
5.870 euros for groups E, F.
COLLICION DAMAGE WAIVER: (Full insurance with
own risk). i) The renter's responsibility mentioned
above can be waived by paying daily 2.93 euros.
For bikes group A, 3.8 euros. For groups B, C, D,
4.4 euros. For groups F, provided collision damages
were not due to violation of the Greek Traffic Law. ii)
Collision damage waiver (full insurance without
own risk). For the group A price is 6.6 euros daily.
For the groups B, C, D, price is 8 euros daily.
For the groups F, is 9.5 euros daily.
TAXES and Full Insurance are not included in our rates.
GASOLINE: Paid by the customer.
MINIMUM RENTAL CHARGE: One day (morning to the night).
SHIPPING OF BIKES: It is Only allowed if SUN - RISE authorises in writing.
REST IT HERE/LEAVE - IT - THERE SYSTEM: Applicable in Crete provided an
advance approval is obtained from SUN - RISE
TRAFFIC FINES: All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the
renter's responsibility.
