Matala lies on the south coast of Crete. In the late 1960's and early 1970's, Matala was host to a colony of flower children and alternative life stylers who were living in its caves.

At a 2 minutes walk from the beach, the family-run pension Antonios is an extremely pleasant and friendly place to stay.




Antonio and his son Manolis, can propose 10 attractively furnished rooms and apartments all equipped with bathroom, fridge and telephone.

Room cleaning is carried out every day and air-conditioning is available at extra cost.
Besides the family will be very happy to serve you breakfast if you wish so.

It is must to relax in their shady patio under the superb bougainvillaea tree or on their terrace...

In Pitsidia, 5km north of Matala the family runs a restaurant that serves Greek traditional food, fresh fish and original baked Italian pizzas.
