Paleochora is an old, small and very picturesque village, located in the southwest coast of the Cretan island.

To the west of the village is Pachia Ammos, a long, beautiful sandy beach that has received the blue flag of the EU for its crystal clear waters. Villa Anna is located just 100m away from this excellent beach.

Many other wonderful pebble and sandy beaches are located in the vicinity of Paleochora.

The village can be the ideal summer base for nature exploration and trips to a variety of extremely beautiful and interesting places nearby: The sand-dune island of Elafonissos, desert island Gavdos, or the breathtaking gorge of Samaria.
