The ceramic studio of Manolis Grammatikakis - a teacher and potter - and Paraskevi Laskari- Grammatikaki -ceramist and worktherapist - is housed in a traditional building, with a blooming yard and typical Cretan architectural style, located at the wonderful and historical village of Fodele.
Here Manolis and Paraskevi continue, with good taste and artistry, the traditional art of ceramics creating items both for use as well as for decoration incorporating old styles and ideas with new.
They can also introduce you to the Cretan History and Culture through the art of ceramic and angeography in their fully equipped studio with a large number of slides and samples of the traditional pots from the Minoan era until today.
A visit to their place is worthwhile! You will have the opportunity to have a closer contact with the potter's clay and if you wish to create your own piece! At the large exhibition you will be delighted with the designs and the variety of their work, not to mention the friendly prices.
